What is Modern Slavery
Modern slavery is the exploitation of individuals for commercial and personal gain through forced labor.
What Does This Mean?
In a shorter way modern slavery is a global epidemic where people are taken advantage of and coerced into working jobs that they never agreed to all while consistently being trafficked, underpaid, and abused. The worker in this situation has no control in their life and is controlled by their employer in every aspect to the point where they are a modern slave.
